Trend Union was formed in June 1986, under the directorship of Li (Lidewij)Edlekoort, to create trend books. It is an association of designers and stylists in different sectors of the Fashion and Interiors industry.

At the beginning of each season these professionals meet, bringing personal reflections, views and materials to define the trends and the colours of the future.

Trend Union’s trend books show within their presentation and content a creativity and a quality which makes them unique. They offer a synthesis of great freedom of expression and realistic research.

Arranged into themes, the Trend Books are illustrated with diverse materials, such as photos, fabric, swatches, yarns, threads, newspaper clippings, ‘fetish’ objects (dolls, teddies, dice......) and gadgets in order to suggest trends. Often accompanied by specialist booklets, which will focus on a particular trend in detail.

The trend books are purchased by a diverse range of clients in the fields of Accessories, Architecture, Automotive, Cosmetics, Fashion, Interiors, & Textile design.

PRESENTATIONS & SEMINARS

Every season an Audio Visual (AV) presentation is held in Paris during the time of the Premiere Vision Textile Fair. Entrance is free to existing clients, a charge is made to others wishing to attend.
